Oh Bintang, what can I say? Let’s start with the positives: this is a laid-back neighbourhood place, a casual atmosphere, with friendly service and a BYO policy.
With an array of Asian dishes, you can hop from Japan to Malaysia to Korea. The problem? The execution. Chewy squid, dumplings where the chicken and coriander filling is almost crumbly in texture, rendang that bears no resemblance to the rich coconutty, aromatic, spice laden sauce you expect. The one exception? Chicken wings, crunchy and textured with coconut on the outside, juicy on the inside.
Sadly, we leave underwhelmed, the negatives unfortunately outweigh the positives.
